With the app Geoboard Students can stretch, modify, and compare geometric figures using virtual rubber bands.

The digital geoboard supports a hands-on approach to geometry. Figures are not only observed but actively (re)constructed and their properties examined. This allows for the clear and visual exploration of concepts such as vertices, sides, symmetries, perimeter, and area.

Suitable for geometry lessons

  • Represent and modify flat figures

  • Examine figures according to their geometric properties

  • Discover symmetries and geometric relationships

  • Prepare and illustrate the scope and area through hands-on activities.

  • develop and describe your own designs

The app is particularly suitable as a digital teaching tool for mathematics lessons in primary school as well as for introducing geometric content in secondary school.
