The faster you calculate, the more points you get.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The game is over when you reach the circled target number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can change the target number yourself by shaking the device or tapping a number before starting the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have fun playing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Didactic notes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The educational game aims to develop strategies for fast addition\u2014including crossing the ten\u2014as a visual mental image by cleverly utilizing number relationships and the ten-structure of the hundred-grid. For example, the problem \u201e+9\u201c can either be solved tediously by counting on, or the strategy \u201e10-1\u201c can be chosen, i.e., one row down (+10) and one back (-1). The educational game seeks to help develop such number relationships and calculation strategies on a visual level and provide incentives for them. However, some children have difficulty developing such strategies and remain stuck at counting on. They need help and targeted incentives in initiating such effective strategies. This can be done by discussing or mutually presenting clever strategies, but above all through modeling and observation. It is helpful to support the strategies verbally and thus make them comprehensible (e.g., \u201e+9, one row down is +10, then I have to go back one so that it is 9\u201c or \u201e46 + 7, 4 to the 50, then 3 are left, so 53\u201c).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before children play this game, orientation exercises on the hundreds chart should have been carried out and basic number decompositions in the number range up to 10 should be largely automated.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eine \u00dcbungsapp zur Erkundung der Hundertertafel.
