Are there special offers for schools or school licenses?

Yes! Educational institutions receive a 50% discount through Apple's Volume Purchase Program (VPP) when they purchase 20 or more licenses at once. This discount is automatically displayed in the VPP store. Unfortunately, other licensing models are not technically possible because Apple does not offer any other options for developers.

Why can't I find the app bundles in the VPP Store for Schools?

For technical reasons, Apple can only offer app bundles in the regular App Store, not in the VPP Store. However, the price advantage is comparable: If you buy at least 20 licenses of an app in the VPP Store, you automatically receive a 50% discount.

Are the apps also available for Android, Windows or Linux?

Currently, I only develop apps for Apple devices (iOS, iPadOS and MacOS). As a solo developer, I deliberately focus on these platforms because I can better ensure the quality of the apps by focusing on one platform family, many educational institutions already work with iPads and developing for several platforms at the same time in my free time would be very time-consuming.

Are the apps data protection compliant (GDPR compliant)?
What data is collected?

My apps are all fully GDPR compliant and can be used in the classroom without any concerns. Only necessary data is collected and Generally, no personal data leaves the deviceThat's why I don't finance the development costs through advertising and data collection. In return, my apps cost a few euros to reward the effort and passion I put into development.
