Are there special offers for schools or school licenses?

Ja! Bildungseinrichtungen erhalten über den Apple School Manager (Bereich „Apps und Bücher“, früher Volume Purchase Program/VPP) einen Rabatt von 50 %, wenn sie 20 oder mehr Lizenzen gleichzeitig erwerben. Dieser Rabatt wird dort automatisch angezeigt. Weitere Lizenzmodelle sind leider technisch nicht möglich, da Apple keine anderen Optionen für Entwickler anbietet.

Warum finde ich die App-Bundles nicht unter „Apps und Bücher“ im Apple School Manager?

App-Bundles können von Apple technisch bedingt nur im regulären App Store, nicht aber über den Apple School Manager angeboten werden. Der Preisvorteil ist jedoch vergleichbar: Beim Kauf von mindestens 20 Lizenzen einer App über „Apps und Bücher“ erhältst du automatisch 50 % Rabatt.

Are the apps also available for Android, Windows or Linux?

Aktuell entwickle ich die Apps nur für Apple-Geräte (iOS, iPadOS und macOS). Als Einzelentwickler konzentriere ich mich bewusst auf diese Plattformen, da ich die Qualität der Apps durch den Fokus auf eine Plattform-Familie besser sichern kann, viele Bildungseinrichtungen bereits mit iPads arbeiten und die gleichzeitige Entwicklung in meiner Freizeit für mehrere Plattformen sehr zeitaufwändig wäre.

What data is collected?

My apps are all fully GDPR compliant and can be used in the classroom without any concerns. Only necessary data is collected and Generally, no personal data leaves the deviceThat's why I don't finance the development costs through advertising and data collection. In return, my apps cost a few euros to reward the effort and passion I put into development.

Who am I?

Ich bin Christian Urff und habe lange als Sonder- bzw. Inklusionspädagoge gearbeitet. Seit 2025 bin ich Tenure-Track-Professor für Mathematikdidaktik mit dem Schwerpunkt Primarstufe an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Weingarten. Nebenbei entwickle ich Lernapps.
