I will occasionally publish short videos on TikTok and YouTube in which I present mathematical tasks related to my apps. These videos are intended to encourage people to think further, experiment and discover how my learning apps can be used specifically in math lessons.
Dabei handelt es sich nicht um klassische Erklärvideos, sondern um sogenannte „Forschervideos“. In jedem Video stelle ich kurz eine Funktion der App vor („Guck mal hier: …“) und schließe mit einer Forscherfrage ab („Und jetzt bist du dran: …“), die dann eigenständig gelöst werden kann und beispielsweise danach in der Klasse oder Kleingruppe vorgestellt und besprochen werden kann. Diese Fragen sollen zum Weiterdenken anregen und dazu beitragen, die App auf sinnvolle Weise zu nutzen.
The videos can and should serve as inspiration for teachers on how to use the app for discovery learning. Of course, the videos can also be used directly in class as a stimulus.
